The Gathered Body is the worshiping church community of Change Ministries. We believe the church is not simply a place people attend. The church is the body of believers gathered under Christ.
The church is a people
The church is not just a building, and it is not just a sign by the road with service times printed underneath it. It is not just a pulpit, a microphone, a few rows of chairs, a livestream link, or a place people pass by during the week and say, “That must be the church.”
The church is a people. It is the gathered body of believers coming together around Jesus Christ, His Word, His mercy, His truth, and His call to love one another faithfully. Before anything else is added to this page, that is where we want to begin.
At Change Ministries, we believe the church becomes visible when people gather to worship, pray, serve, forgive, encourage, grow, and carry one another through real life. Not pretend life. Not polished-up-for-Sunday life. Real life, where people are tired, hopeful, hurting, grateful, confused, faithful, and still learning how to walk with the Lord.
This page will serve as the main church page for Change Ministries. As the ministry grows, this space will include worship information, prayer requests, pastoral care, membership language, community gatherings, and future service details. Some of that will be added over time, but the heart of it is already here.
We are not trying to build something just to look impressive. We are not trying to create a performance or a religious display case. We are building a place for people who need Scripture, prayer, mercy, encouragement, and a church family that remembers the church was never meant to be a show. It was meant to be a body. A gathered body. A people changed by Christ, learning how to walk together. Worship will be part of this page. Prayer will be part of this page. Pastoral care, membership, community gatherings, future service information, and ministry updates will all have a place here as Change Ministries continues to grow.
But before any schedule is posted, before any program is listed, and before any announcement is made, this page begins with one simple truth: The church is not somewhere we go just to be seen. The church is who we are in Christ.

Pastoral care
Through Change Ministries, Pastor Mike seeks to serve the gathered body of believers and reach those who may feel tired, broken, unsure, or far from church. Some people walk through church doors. Some first find hope through a screen, in a hard season, late at night, in a parking lot, at a gas station, or in the quiet place where they are wondering if God still sees them.
The heart of this ministry is pastoral care: prayer, encouragement, Scripture, truth spoken in love, and walking with people toward Christ.
If you need prayer, encouragement, or someone to reach out in care, you are welcome to contact Change Ministries through the contact page. Whether you are close to church, far from it, or simply unsure where to begin, there is room here to be prayed for, encouraged, and pointed back to Jesus.
